How We Helped HolidayCheck Increase Organic Traffic and Conversions Across Key Markets

Introduction

HolidayCheck is a major travel platform that helps users find, book, and review hotels and holiday destinations. To strengthen its visibility across important international markets, the company wanted to improve the quality of its organic traffic and drive better conversions for hotel and destination pages. To support these goals, HolidayCheck partnered with us for large-scale content production and multilingual support. 

Challenge

HolidayCheck needed to enhance its presence in search results and attract users who were more likely to engage and book. The objectives were clear: 

  • drive high-quality organic traffic 
  • improve conversion rates for hotels and holiday destinations 
  • support multiple international markets, including the US, Germany, the UK, Italy, France, Russia, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and the Czech Republic 

The challenge lay in producing and optimizing content at a scale that matched HolidayCheck’s platform needs while maintaining consistency and accuracy across languages. 

Solution

To help HolidayCheck reach these goals, we launched a broad content initiative called the User Focus campaign. The work centered on improving the depth, clarity, and global accessibility of key hotel and destination pages. 

Content Creation.
We produced 6,575 hotel descriptions, giving users clearer and more practical information to guide their decisions. Each description aimed to highlight details travelers look for when comparing options. 

User Opinion Translation.
We translated 1,153,119 words from the user opinions section. This allowed more travelers to access peer reviews in their own language, which is often a deciding factor in the booking process. 

Original Destination Reviews.
We created 600 original reviews of holiday destinations. These pieces offered fresh perspectives and helped travelers discover new places with reliable, easy-to-understand insights. 

International Market Targeting.
By focusing on ten key markets, we helped HolidayCheck reach a wider audience and strengthen its visibility where demand for travel content was highest. 

Results

The User Focus campaign delivered strong improvements in visibility, engagement, and performance: 

  • 100% increase in international traffic. Visibility on international pages doubled, expanding HolidayCheck’s reach across priority markets. 
  • Higher engagement on hotel pages. Hotel pages with the new descriptions saw visits double, showing that users responded well to clearer, more informative content. 
  • Improved Page Rank. Several subdomains moved from Page Rank 1 to 3, increasing visibility in search results and helping users find relevant destinations more easily. 
  • Stronger conversion rates. With better-quality traffic and more informative content, conversion rates improved and became more stable over time. 

The campaign’s combination of large-scale content creation, translation, and market targeting helped HolidayCheck significantly improve its organic footprint and support its growth across multiple regions.
